NSW Regional Manager - Agriculture Insurance

International Agriculture Insurer | NSW Based

The Role: You will lead a specialist NSW team to deliver on regional business plans, new business targets, and client retention. This role requires a hands-on leader to manage the end to end regional operations, including on-farm coaching, performance management, and the execution of sales campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Recruit, coach, and motivate Farm Insurance Specialists and BDMs to drive a high-performance culture.

• Sales & Retention: Oversee all regional sales activities to meet current and future growth targets.

• Stakeholder Management: Maintain key account relationships and foster long-term partnerships with alliance partners.

• Compliance: Ensure regional adherence to all underwriting, audit, and regulatory policies.

• Insights: Gather and share market intelligence with the Commercial Leadership and Underwriting teams.

What You Will Bring

• Expertise: Deep knowledge of Agricultural insurance is preferred; however, extensive experience in General Insurance and the insurance regulatory environment is accepted.

• Experience: Proven track record in leading sales teams within the rural or insurance sectors.

• Skills: Advanced business development, complex account management, and the ability to provide direct on-farm coaching.

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Finance and RG146 compliance.
